CAIRO, Egypt — 2024 — Kandeel Developments has announced the appointment of a team of leading industry consultants for KAY90, the company’s first mixed-use development in South Academy, New Cairo. The appointments reflect the company’s integrated approach to project development, bringing together specialized expertise across architecture, engineering supervision, retail planning, and brand development to support the successful delivery of the project.

As Kandeel Developments expands its presence in Egypt’s mixed-use real estate sector, the company continues to emphasize collaboration with experienced consultants whose capabilities align with its commitment to quality, functionality, and disciplined project execution. The consultant team has been assembled to ensure that every stage of KAY90—from concept development through construction and project positioning—is guided by specialized technical expertise.

Leading the project’s architectural design is Yasser El Beltagy Architects (YBA), one of Egypt’s recognized architectural practices. YBA has been appointed to develop the architectural vision for KAY90, with a design approach focused on operational efficiency, user experience, and creating a contemporary mixed-use destination that responds to the evolving needs of businesses and professional communities.

To oversee the implementation of the project, DMA has been appointed as the project’s Supervision Consultant, providing engineering supervision throughout the construction process. DMA’s role includes monitoring execution quality, ensuring compliance with approved engineering documentation, and supporting the delivery of the project in accordance with established technical and construction standards.

Supporting the project’s engineering activities, Etqan Consultancy has been appointed to provide architecture and site supervision services, contributing additional technical oversight throughout the execution phase and reinforcing Kandeel Developments’ commitment to quality assurance and construction excellence.

Recognizing the importance of creating a commercially successful mixed-use destination, Kandeel Developments has also appointed Egy Map as the project’s Retail Consultant. Through its retail advisory role, Egy Map will contribute to the commercial planning strategy, helping shape a balanced retail environment that complements the project’s administrative and medical components while enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Completing the consultant team, AZ-Studio has been appointed to lead the branding and visual identity for KAY90. The appointment reflects the company’s objective of establishing a distinctive project identity that communicates the development’s vision while supporting its long-term positioning within New Cairo’s commercial real estate market.
